Delete your EqubNet account & data

You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to submit a request, what will be deleted, what may be retained, and the expected timeline.

How to request deletion

  1. In-app (preferred): Open Account and select Delete account
  2. By email: Send your request from your registered email to support@equbnet.com with the subject “Delete my EqubNet account.” You can use this quick link:

For your security, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

What we delete

  • Profile data (name, email, phone)
  • Account credentials and authentication data (Clerk tenant)
  • Optional content (e.g., profile photo, saved preferences)

What we may retain & why

  • Contribution / payout / transaction records required for fraud prevention, audit, tax, and legal compliance
  • Minimal security logs
  • Backups retained on a rolling basis (typically 30–90 days), after which data is purged
  • Payment processor records (e.g., Stripe) under their own policies

If you wish to keep your account but remove certain data (e.g., profile photo or saved preferences), email support@equbnet.com with details. We’ll honor the request where possible and tell you what must be retained.
